Other methods of accessing the Concord V4 systems
The methods below have been tested, however we can't provide support for them beyond this page.
If you need assistance, please ask an IT expert to help you in person with these methods below.
Via HDMI: If your Concord is nearby to your PC, buy a HDMI-to-USB capture dongle such as XC4661, plug the Concord's HDMI cable to the dongle, and connect it to your PC's USB port.
You can use the Windows Camera app, or OBS (Open Broadcaster - Win/Mac/Linux) to view and record the Concord's video output. You can use a wireless USB mouse or add a USB extension cable to the Concord mouse.
Via emulator: You can use an Android phone emulator program on a PC or Mac, such as Bluestacks, which provides a generic Android phone in a program window for the Concord Connect App to run on.
Via RTSP streaming software: You can stream individual camera video from your Concord NVR to RTSP-compatible video player software, such as VLC (Windows/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS) & Home Assistant. See here for instructions.
Via Windows software: Third-party software that can work with surveillance systems is available here. It is provided "as-is" and we are unable to provide any support for third-party software, sorry.
After installing the software, click Log in, then click the + Add button on the top-right.
Then look up the system ID from your Concord system's screen bottom-right.
The ID also available in the phone App, top-left corner of the camera live-view screen, and in the phone App Settings.
In the PC software, select Cloud ID on the top left.
Enter the Concord's system ID in the Cloud ID box, enter your Concord's password, enter the number of cameras you have, and click Finish. Close the + Add page with the X on the top right, your system will appear soon after.
Via Microsoft Edge browser on Windows: You will need to allow Internet Explorer mode in Edge and specify IE mode to handle your Concord's IP address, so it can install a plugin to view your cameras.
In Edge, go to the ... menu, then Settings > Default Browser > Internet Explorer compatibility, click the dropdown on the right for Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode and select Allow.
Now press Add a Page to add the IP address of your Concord (including http:// - you'll need to re-enter the IP once a month because Microsoft....).
Then, when you visit the Concord's IP address in Edge, log in, and click the blue link on the top of the camera preview page to install the Web client plugin.
Press Run on the popup on the bottom of the page.
Click OK on the installer.
Close and open the Concord's IP again, log in, and click Allow from the plugin popup on the bottom of the screen.
Close and open Concord's IP again, log in, and your cameras should be displayed in the Preview page.
If your Concord's IP address changes, you'll need to change the IP in the Edge Settings page to match. To avoid this, reserve the Concord's IP address in your modem/router.
