You can stream individual camera video from your Concord NVR to RTSP-compatible video player software, such as VLC (Windows/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS) & Home Assistant.
Setting up your Concord system to stream
On the Concord's screen, right click the mouse, choose System Setup from the menu.
Type your password, and press Log in - if you saved it, just click Log in.
If you do not know your password, you can reset it.
Choose Network Setup from the middle left.
Choose Network Service from the top menu
Enable the RTSP Server
In your player software, construct the stream URL as follows:
rtsp://admin:(your Concord password)@(IP address of your system):80/ch0_0.264
ch0 will play the stream from camera 1, ch1, will play the stream from camera 2, etc.
0.264 will play the highest-quality stream, 1.264 will play a mobile-version sub-stream.
Home Assistant will require you to add Go2RTC, ONVIF and the Advanced Camera Card to display RTSP streams.
This article is the only support we can provide for RTSP - configuring 3rd-party players, and accessing the stream outside your local network will require you to know how to reserve IP addresses in your router, how to port-forward IPs externally, manage dynamic DNS, and be familiar with other IP-related technologies that are beyond the scope of what we can support.
