This article addresses a screen cropping issue on Digitech TV models GH5200–GH5230, caused by mismatched aspect ratios due to over- or under-scanning. The problem can be resolved by adjusting the TV’s aspect ratio settings to “Original” and enabling “Just scan” mode in the TV menu.

Issue
The screen image is cropped so that the edges are cut off.
Why this happens
The aspect ratio of the TV does not match the content you are playing, due to over- or under-scanning.
How to fix it.
1. Press Settings (the gear button) on the remote
2. Select Settings (press enter button)
3. Select Aspect Ratio
4. Select User Selection and change it to “Original”
5. Press back on the remote
6. Select Just scan and change it from "Auto" to “On”
7. Over/under scanning is now fixed.
