QV3882 Dash camera - how to update the firmware when the time is wrong

Issue: Some QV3882 units may show an incorrect time stamp from their internal clock. 

Solution: Download the file at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions below to resolve this. 

1. Open the compressed file to extract the BIN file
2. Copy the BIN file to the memory card using a PC & card reader or phone with card slot
3. Insert the card into the camera and power the camera on
4. The camera will automatically start up and upgrade

Do not turn off the power during the upgrade process. 

Once completed, format the card, or remove the card from the camera and delete the BIN file from it.
