The MB4102, MB4104, MB4106, and MB4108 are high-capacity portable power stations with Lithium batteries and mains/DC/USB power outputs. They can be charged from DC sources such as solar panels or vehicles, or faster from mains.
General FAQs
What do long and short presses of the power button do?
When the power station is OFF:
Short press the power button - no action
Long press the power button - turns the station on
When the power station is ON:

DC charging FAQ
The power station seems to charge slowly from my car
Cars usually have a 10Amp fuse inline with their cigarette lighter sockets - to avoid blowing this fuse, the power stations will limit their power draw to 10A when they detect the voltage from the DC source is less than 15v. If your DC voltage is higher than 15v, the stations can draw up to 15A.
How many solar panels can I connect to the power stations?
You'll need to check the Open-circuit voltage and Amps at max power ratings on the panel nameplate, and multiply it by the number of panels. The total volts and Amps needs to be less than the max below.
MB4102: 80v & 10A max
MB4104, MB4106 MB4108: 150v & 15A max
AC charging FAQ
The power station seems to charge slowly from AC mains
The station has both fast-charge and slow-charge modes. You can change the mode as follows:
In the App: Disconnect any power input. Go to Settings, choose the charging mode.
Via the front panel buttons:
- Disconnect any power input, AC ports must be turned off.
- Hold down IOT and USB buttons for several seconds.
- H or L will be displayed, toggle by pressing the IOT button.
- To confirm, hold the Power button for several seconds.
- Screen will flash and then SUC will be displayed.
- Press the Power button for several seconds again to return to main screen.
The power station won't charge from AC or DC inputs
You may find the display will light up only briefly when you press the power button to turn the unit on. It may also display a message E024. This can happen if you drain them too far or they go flat in storage.
Reset the circuit breaker - disconnect all cables, and press the button below the mains input socket.
If this does not help, apply at least 50v DC to the DC Input (red/black ports on the side above the mains input) from a solar panel or connected series of solar panels for a while (make sure it receives no more than 80v DC). A lab power supply capable of 50v DC or four 12v batteries in series can also do this. Red plug is positive, black plug is negative.
This should only need to be applied for a minute or two, then plug in the mains cable. This will reset the protection mode and the unit can then be charged from mains power.
AC Output FAQ
Why does the AC power output turn off?
The AC output will turn off in two scenarios - the load is too small (e.g. a 10w plugpack), or 6 hours has passed since it was turned on. Keeping the AC output active is a constant power drain, so it will turn off by default after 6 hours to preserve the battery capacity.
You can change the default timeout for the standby and AC outputs in the App under Settings.
