This E1 message appears on the display when the fridge senses that the external battery voltage is too low. The fridge will stop running, to preserve the battery capacity.
E1 can also be caused by the power cable being too long, or a loose plug connection. You can customise how low a voltage the fridge will accept before the fridge displays E1 and stops running.
How to change the GH2106 fridge 12v battery protection setting:
- Connect the fridge to power, and press the Power button to turn it OFF
- Press and hold the + and - buttons together until the display turns on
- Tap the - button to change it from three bars (H) to two bars (M) or one bar (L).
- Wait for the blinking to stop.

How to change the GH2106 fridge display from Fahrenheit to Celsius:
- Connect the fridge to power, and press the Power button to turn it ON
- Press and hold the + and - buttons together until the display shows F1
- Tap the - button so the display shows F-C
- Tap the Padlock button and then the - button to change it from F to C.
- Wait for the blinking to stop.

How to unlock the GH2106 fridge
If the display LEDs are showing as below, the fridge has auto-locked to prevent accidental button presses.
Press and hold the padlock button until the LEDs circle away.
