Concord Security systems covered by this article :
This article is for systems whose model names end in ...-P, ..-V2, or ...-V3 only. You will find the model name on the white sticker on the lid of your system - it looks like CNKxxxxx-V2.
V4 systems (introduced from August 2025) use a different App, so please go here for setup of V4 units.
Things to do first
Set up your Concord box - plug in a screen, mouse, & power pack to the Concord, and connect the network cable from the Concord LAN port to your modem/router. If you can't run the network cable to the Concord, get a Wi-Fi extender.
You will need to know the password for the Admin or primary user on your system. If you do not know the password, you can reset it.
The App will connect only if you see the green "tick" on the bottom menu bar of the screen.
If you have the red X below, check the network cable is connected - if it is, reset your Concord.
If you have the yellow triangle below, reboot the modem/router, otherwise reset your Concord.
Installing the Concord Security App
Download the App to your phone, by scanning the QR codes below using your phone camera.
- Apple: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/concord-security/id1450216732
- Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.client.concord&hl=en_AU
You can also open your phone's App store and search for Concord Security by TechBrands Apps.
Do not install Concord Connect - this is only for V4 systems.
Get the App ready
Open the App, and allow it any permissions that it ask for.
The very first time you open the App, it will take you to a screen for adding your system. Press OK, then press the + symbol on the top-right.
If you have previously opened the Concord App, click on the top left menu (three lines or head-and-shoulders), and then Device Manager, to get to the + symbol.
Choose IPC / NVR (the first option)
Scan the QR code
Now scan the QR code on the label stuck to your system's box, or click the circled-i icon in the bottom row of the system's screen to bring up the QR code info screen.
In the App, type your Admin password and click Save. Change nothing else here.
It should say Connected after a few moments, and you can now access the system.
If it says Username/password error, press the pen-and-paper icon to re-type the password, and check that you have used Admin as the username. If you overwrote the Admin user in the Concord setup with another name, you will need to use that name.
If it says Connect Fail or Connect Close, please call 1300 762 627 9am to 5pm AEST Monday to Friday
