The TV antenna socket on your TV normally only receives free terrestrial TV channels from a TV antenna on your roof. It can't be used for pay-TV satellite channels like Foxtel, as they are encrypted to prevent people from watching them for free.
Satellite pay-TV providers like Foxtel will rent you a satellite decoder box that you plug between the satellite dish socket in your wall and your TV's HDMI input, and you will need to pay them to receive their content.
Foxtel will normally supply cables with their satellite decoder box. Search for F-plug on our site if you have lost your satellite-to-box cables, or need longer cables.
